Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American actor and singer from the United States. She was best known for playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In addition, she played the principal role Jerrica Jem Betnton on the movie Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She also has an older sister named Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. She graduated Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she spoke as the valedictory for the 2012 class. Harvard University was willing to admit her. However, she turned down the offer twice. The second time it was because she wanted to play in Nashville. Peeples was a part of Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally and Ally Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and NecessaryRoughness (1991) as a Guest Star. She was in the made-for TV films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In season two, she was cast as Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples opened up about bipolar during an interview in 2019 in NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples to be one of the best actors younger than twenty in September 2014.
